Materiality Master – the leading double materiality assessment software – is available in multiple languages, allowing each user to change their preferred language settings for the interface.
The Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS) are regulations of the EU Green Deal that impact companies operating across multiple European countries. Since these regulations apply to organizations in various linguistic regions, having multilingual software ensures that local teams can accurately interpret and implement reporting requirements. Providing support in multiple languages helps companies comply with CSRD and ESRS mandates efficiently, ensuring that all stakeholders – regardless of language – can contribute to the sustainability reporting process effectively.
Follow these simple steps to update your language settings in the Materiality Master.
1. How to Change Your Language Settings
- Click on your avatar icon in the top-right corner.
- Select “Profile” from the dropdown menu.
- Under Language Settings, choose your preferred language (e.g., English, German, French, Hungarian).
- Click “Save” to apply the changes.
- Your interface will automatically update to the selected language.
2. Requesting Additional Languages

3. Why Multiple Languages Matter for International Organizations
For international organizations, having software available in multiple languages ensures accessibility, inclusivity, and efficiency across global teams. With employees, stakeholders, and decision-makers spread across different countries, a multilingual interface allows users to work in their preferred language, reducing misunderstandings and improving collaboration. It is also beneficial for consulting firms operating in multiple markets.
This is especially important for double materiality assessments, where accurate IRO descriptions, ratings, and data interpretation are key. By enabling teams to operate in multiple languages, organizations can streamline reporting, ensure consistent data input, and enhance cross-border cooperation.
